LINCOLN, NEB. – The Central Plains Corn Growers Association held their first local event at the Albion Country Club in Albion on March 30th. Invited guest Tom Briese, candidate for Legislative District 41, also addressed the group and fielded questions from those in attendance about what they would like to see if he is elected to the Legislature. The meal was sponsored by Cargill Grain – Albion and Valero – Albion.

President of the Central Plains Corn Growers, Dave Warner, was pleased with the group’s first meeting. “We have been working on forming this local for almost a year now and we are excited to have finally reached this point.
