The Buffalo Hall County Corn Growers Association is pleased to announce the 2022 recipients of their annual scholarship program. With a goal of ensuring the education of young growers and the future of American agriculture, each student will receive $750 funded by the Buffalo Hall County Corn Growers. This year’s recipients are:

Jaden Gascho – Jaden is the son of Dewayne and Valerie Gascho of Cairo, Nebraska. Jaden is a senior at Centura High School and plans to continue his education at Central Community College in Hastings with a major in welding.
Nathaniel Jones – Nathaniel is the son of Bradley and Kristi Jones of Doniphan, Nebraska. Nathaniel is a senior at Heartland Lutheran and plans to continue his education at Chadron State College with a major in agribusiness.

The Buffalo Hall County Corn Growers Association would like to congratulate Jaden and Nathaniel. Dedicated individuals like Jaden and Nathaniel promise a bright future for the agricultural industry. This scholarship is for area high school seniors who are planning to pursue an undergraduate degree in agriculture, agribusiness or an agricultural vocation field. Anyone interested in applying for the 2023 scholarship must have a relative who is an active member of the Nebraska Corn Growers Association and can contact their high school advisor for the application.

The Buffalo Hall County Corn Growers Association is an affiliate of the Nebraska Corn Growers Association. The Nebraska Corn Growers Association is a part of the National Corn Growers Association and works to create and increase opportunities for Nebraska corn farmers through advocacy, education partnerships and leadership development.
