Nebraska farmers are heading into the 2026 planting season facing a grim economy. While we provide the nation’s food and feed, unsustainable fertilizer costs are pushing family farms to a breaking point.

The Nebraska Corn Growers Association joined corn grower organizations from across the country in a formal letter to U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi & USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins, calling for transparency & action on the fertilizer pricing investigation. We need answers and accountability – not anti-competitive games.
